The cottage has bright and welcoming interiors with lovely wooden features and creature comforts. There’s also a separate WC on the ground floor and it’s upstairs to the two en-suite bedrooms: the master has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower, and good storage in the lovely antique furniture; there’s also a pretty twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Outside at the front, sit in the sunshine at the table and chairs with a cool drink soaking in the setting, there’s a second seating area at the back for the late afternoon sun with panoramic views.

A beautiful property in an idyllic location, central to all major towns and tourist locations. Barney's Cottage was spotlessly clean, well appointed, comfortable and spacious. We would highly recommend and would happily return for another holiday. The home made welcome pack was delicious - thank you!!

Very clean and well equipped cottage with some good interesting local walks. It is an easy drive to Bolton Abbey, RHS Harlow Carr, Fountains Abbey, and Brimham Rocks which we enjoyed visiting. The lovely song of the curlews, skylarks and oyster catchers could be heard nearby and the birds spotted. The bluebells and other spring flowers and blossomsRead more have been wonderful this year.
