Our second visit this year . We so love this cottage . Its position , the quietness , the wildlife , and the warm cosy cottage is everything we really love about this cottage . We will be back again for sure .

Lovely comfortable cottage for a relaxing family break in peaceful surroundings. Ruth made sure we had everything we needed and we loved getting to know her 4 cats that were enjoying the beautiful gardens! Well-positioned for days out, both walks from the property and various attractions a drive away.

Owner welcomed us on arrival she was very accommodating, always on hand if needed. Property was amazing home from home everything you could ever need and more. 4 of the owners cats greeted us daily which was lovely. Area was central for everything we needed, would definitely recommend and would love to go back, sad to leave. Thanks for everything.

We loved the stay in this cottage. Special thanks for the very warm welcome! The kitchen is very well equipped and offers all you need. The living room with the gas firepace is cosy after a long day out in the moors. Wifi is available, but no mobile reception.

As a base for discovering the N York moors you would be hard pressed to beat the Hayrick Cottage. Set in a beautiful, tranquil location, it is charming spacious, really comfy and very well equipped with everything you'd need and plenty of parking and outside areas to take in the fresh air. Traditional cottage in a lovely peaceful location. Comfortable beds. Owner Ruth very welcoming and helpful provided with a tray of tea and cream scones and cake on arrival. Much appreciated. Gardens and grounds accessible and free to roam . Lovely stay for four of us.

The cottage was in a great location for North Yorkshire's many attractions. It was spotless, very comfortably furnished; rooms heated quickly if needed. There was everything we needed and it was a cosy base to return to at the end of the day. Lovely views from the lounge. Well-equipped, warm and quiet cottage in a great location. Easy to get around the Moors and coast and handy for the pub and for Pickering. Ruth is a lovely, welcoming host and looked after us well- thanks for the cake and wine.

We were overwhelmed by the beautiful location, the grounds were tranquil and gorgeous. The hospitality of the owner was outstanding We felt very welcomed.
