The stairs to this property are quite difficult to manoeuvre, especially the top 5 spiral steps I would not recommend it to anyone with mobility problems. If the stairs had been illustrated in the details, we wouldn't have booked it. Plus, there is no light over the cooker, making it difficult to use.

We loved our short break at Flowery Field and enjoyed the beautiful countryside whilst visiting family in Leeds and Sheffield. The house is welcoming and cosy. The kitchen is small but very well appointed. There is a large cupboard in the bedroom with coat hangers, shelves and space to store luggage. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and the vieRead morew from the bedroom window overlooking the reservoir is stunning. The dressing room is ideal and having a bath and shower was a bonus! The coal effect fire in the living room / diner gives a cosy feel to the room. We would certainly stay in Flowery Field again. Hide

A cosy, warm and welcoming cottage in a beautiful setting, just outside Holmfirth. Whilst compact, the accommodation is well equipped and ideal for a couple. Two lovely farm shops a few yards up the road and a pub in sight, five minutes' walk away. Had many return guests, which speaks for itself.

We love this cosy little cottage and we have stayed in it twice. To be perfectly honest the downstairs area is small, but it is adequate for just a couple. The upstairs seems bigger somehow. It is very well equipped, furnished and decorated and also well placed for shops and with a good couple of local pubs for eating. The views from the windows arRead moree very pleasant and it is up out of the town and ideal for walking from. Hide
