Marthas Cottage is in a lovely quiet rural location but only 10 mins from Harrogate. The house is really well equipped and we loved all the seating areas around the garden for meals or drinks out in the sunshine.

The location is excellent for visiting Nidderdale and surrounding area. Despite the terrible weather that we had we found lots of interesting places to go to. Harrogate has lots of restaurants with different cuisines and everyone of them that we visited was good. The downstairs bathroom wasn't suitable for my two adult sons.

A lovely cottage with excellent facilities. We found everything we needed. Firewood is provided, which creates a very cosy atmosphere by the fireplace.

This cottage is a great find. Right on the edge of Harrogate (we walked into town, but theres a great bus service. The cottage is cozy, comfortable and has every essential plus many little extras. We had a really lovely stay, in March, ideal for exploring Yorkshire. Highly recommended.

Location suited us very well. Being a 4 generation group we appreciated the two bathrooms, albeit they were compact. The wood burner warmed the house including the kitchen. We enjoyed meals at The Knox, Barn Cafe & Hay Cafe.

Great location, easy to reach tourist attractions. Very comfortable beds, sofas and well equipped kitchen. Garden is well looked after and if the weather had been better we'd have enjoyed sitting outside. Lovely having a fire in the living room.

Lovely garden for all ages. Easy to find but far enough from the road to feel rural. Ideal for Harrogate or out to the countryside. Took us 40 min to park and ride for York and 2h to Scarborough (scenic route). Plenty of space upstairs and down although the en-suite was a squeeze. Would definitely visit again.

Cosy cottage in great location for seeing wider area. Great to be close to attractions but with countryside feel and pleasant garden areas. Comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped. Bathrooms small but adequate. Wood burner heats house well with exception of kitchen diner which was cold to be in during the evening. Ventured further afield to eat outRead more and shop so can't comment on local facilities. Hide

Great location, within walking distance to Harrogate. The cottage was clean and had all we needed supplied for our stay. Owners were contactable and had left great recommendations within the welcome pack in the cottage.
