We had a lovely long weekend at Carlton Villas. The cottage was beautiful, very spacious and had a lovely outdoor area. The kitchen was really well equipped and had everything we needed. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area and just a 2 minute walk from a co-op and lovely pub with good food. The children enjoyed watching the shRead moreeep in the field opposite. I would highly recommend it. Hide

Gorgeous, spacious apartment with lots of character and lovely views. Very clean and comfortable and well equipped. The apartment is well located for visiting the surrounding area and you can walk to the local dog friendly pub for a drink or a bite to eat. Would highly recommend!

Carlton Villas is an exceptional place to stayeasily one of the best short-term lets Ive experienced in the past four years of travelling around the UK and Europe. The property itself is a spacious ground-floor apartment within a beautiful, grand stone-built villa. Recently refurbished, the interior is bright, stylish, and incredibly relaxingeveRead morerything feels fresh, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. I particularly loved the large kitchenits a great space to cook and even work in, which made a real difference during my stay. The surrounding gardens are wonderful and immaculately maintained, and the views across open fields create a real sense of calm. Towards the back of the garden is a woodland area, look closely and you might see a deer to two. The porch was another highlightperfect for sitting in and taking in the garden, the fields beyond, and the sunset. Watching the nearby sheep and lambs adds to the charm and makes it feel like a true countryside retreat. Bron and Will were fantastic hostsfriendly, welcoming, and always available if needed required. They made the entire stay seamless and hassle-free from start to finish. I also really appreciated the location. Theres a supermarket and a great pub with a beer garden just a short walk away, and even more amenities in the nearby village, which is easily accessible on footideal if you want convenience without losing that peaceful countryside feel. I actually looked into extending my stay by a further month, which says everything about how much I enjoyed it, but unfortunately it wasnt possible due to another booking. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Carlton Villas to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality stay. Absolutely 10/10. Hide
