Property code: OC-75301

Set above the hamlet of Low Mills sits this comfortable, four-bedroom property. With a large garden and splendid views of the valley and moors from nearly every room, it’s a fantastic holiday getaway for a family or group of friends plus two dogs wanting to immerse themselves in the beauty of the North York Moors National Park.

Leave muddy boots and coats in the entrance hall and step through to the welcoming lounge. Pastel tones and homely decor make this a comfortable space, and after a day hiking across the moors you’ll want to sink into the sofa or warm your toes by the wood burner. Off from the living area, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen with a stone wall and a sociable farmhouse table. Gather the group and linger over a meal or unfold maps to plan your next day’s agenda. There’s also a handy utility room where you can dish up dinner for Fido. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find a beautifully furnished double bedroom on this floor. Light and airy it also boasts a pristine en-suite bathroom. Three further bedrooms can be found on the first floor, served by a well-appointed bathroom with a shower over bath. Children will love the bunk bedroom while adults can choose between a double bedroom and twin bedroom. All the bedrooms are wonderfully serene with soothing tones, neat decor, and delightful views. Outside, a large garden features a lawn dotted with plants and trees. During the day, bask in the sun or enjoy a drink at the patio table and soak up the impressive countryside views.

The property is set in a peaceful location and offers plenty of walking and cycling trails straight from the door. Pull on hiking boots and explore the North York Moors or enjoy a scenic daffodil walk along the riverbank. Be sure to also visit the local villages including Hutton-le-Hole with its pub, tearoom and craft shops.

Lovely comfortable, well appointed cottage in a beautiful valley. Ideally located for exploring either up on the moors or other villages of which there are many.

Although a beautiful location, the facilities are not perfect, amongst broken dishwasher and shower etc this would be easier to overlook if the view was accessible from a chair, but having to stand up to look was annoying. Over-all this is a lovely location but in my opinion not a family friendly cottage.
