To one side of the room is a lounge space with two leather sofas surrounding the exposed brick fireplace with a wood burner. Opposite is a fitted, galley-style kitchen unit with a breakfast bar on the peninsula and the convenience of a dishwasher. There are two neutral-toned and wooden bedrooms, both with picture windows and nature views. The king-size bedroom boasts a patio door and an en-suite shower room. Guests staying in the twin room can use the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside is an enclosed patio garden with furniture and a gas BBQ. There is secure bike storage and CCTV-covered private parking for two cars.
While staying in the sleepy Yorkshire countryside near the Rising Sun Fisheries (less than 0.5 miles), you’ll be just 15 miles from the historic city of York. Here you can visit the 13th-century castle, walk along the 71CE city walls and browse the Shambles Market. Head into the North York Moors National Park (10.5 miles) for a wander through Castle Howard Arboretum (20 miles) or a picnic in Yearlsey Woods (13 miles). Also within reach is National Trust Beningbrough Hall (11 miles).
