Close to the Yorkshire Dales, it offers easy access to delightful walks, historic houses and the spa town of Harrogate.

Step into the kitchen/diner and enjoy its spacious feel, with plenty of cupboards and a microwave to help make light work of holiday cooking. From here, you can stroll through to the lounge, bright and relaxing, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and French doors opening onto the patio. On the first floor there are two inviting bedrooms, both with characterful beams and some areas of low, sloping ceiling. The tranquil double bedroom boasts a beautiful, Gothic-style window and, like the cosy twin room, enjoys gorgeous rural views. A family bathroom on this level includes a shower over the bath and WC. The enclosed patio is furnished for outdoor drinks and meals, complete with a fire pit, BBQ and dining set for four. Finally, private parking is provided for two cars.

Perfect for a peaceful day of walking, the Lindley Wood Reservoir is just 3 miles away, while the Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs are within 8 miles. Keen gardeners will enjoy the RHS garden at Harlow Carr, 6.5 miles away, and for a day of shopping or eating out the spa town of Harrogate is only 9 miles away. Bolton Abbey and Ripley Castle can both be reached within 18 miles.

Been doing this type of holiday for 5 years now and this is the best equipped yet. Kitchen and cooker were amazing, lots of sockets which have been lacking previously. House itself was beautiful, the surrounding countryside beautiful, saw red kites everyday. Hosts were lovely with lots of helpful recommendations. Cannot recommend highly enoRead moreugh. Hide
