In the heart of the charming market town of Sedbergh, this three-storey townhouse suits groups of up to six people seeking a tranquil base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and beyond. The local pub is less than 500 metres away, or you could share a delicious meal in your charming kitchen/diner before snuggling up by the wood burner and Smart TV.

Take three steps up to your front door and stroll into the delightful lounge, a bright and pretty room with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. In cooler months you can throw a log on the wood burner and snuggle up by its warming flames. The kitchen/diner is another welcoming space, with painted cabinets and excellent facilities, including a range-style gas oven and hob. A separate WC completes the ground floor. Head upstairs to find two bedrooms on the first floor, a twin and a single, as well as a family bathroom which boasts both a roll-top bath and a separate shower. From the twin bedroom, a staircase leads to the top floor, where there’s a double and a single bedroom. Some bedrooms have far-reaching views across the Dales, and all are spacious, with ample storage. A small, gravelled back garden includes a bench for relaxing in the sunshine. On-street parking for one car is available, with a public car park within 200 metres.

Known as England’s Book Town, Sedbergh has a wide range of shops and book cafes offering titles new and second-hand, as well as friendly pubs, places to eat and a range of specialist shops. Venture out on the Dales Way, the Calf or the Cautley Spout, all within 5 miles, or head to Kendal, 11 miles, for boutique shopping, arts and culture, great places to eat and more outdoor adventures.
