On one side of the space is a compact one-wall kitchen with a hob and microwave to cook a homemade meal for your loved ones. Dine together at the window-side table with countryside views while the wood burner keeps you warm. On the other side of the space is a tailor-made bunk bed with a double on the lower level and a single on top. Completing the interior is a walk-in shower room with a WC. Outside, you’ll find a picnic bench. You can also hire a wood-fired hot tub on the grounds.
While staying in the countryside on the outskirts of Gilling West, head into the village to find a traditional pub and a trickling beck. Spend a day in the vibrant market town of Richmond (3.5 miles) where you can visit the castle, taste the local cuisine and wander along the River Swale to Richmond Falls.
