Walkers are perfectly placed for scenic rambles of all kinds, while the lively market town of Hawes is nearby and iconic beauty spots such as Aysgarth Falls and Hardraw Force are within easy reach.

Full of warmth and charm, the cottage is arranged for relaxed, comfortable living. A cosy lounge/diner is the heart of the home, with a round dining table by the window and soft seating gathered around a wood burner and a Smart TV. The kitchen combines classic country style with modern practicality, and includes both a microwave and a dishwasher. Completing the ground floor is a practical shower room. Head up the cottage-style stairs to find two inviting bedrooms, both with views over the surrounding Dales. On this level there is also a useful WC. To the back of the cottage, a small seating area provides a quite spot for a cup of Yorkshire tea, or perhaps a sundowner and a snack. You can store bikes in the outhouse, and there is first-come, first-served parking on the shared driveway, with further on-street parking in the village.

The tranquil village of Burtersett is surrounded by glorious scenery and makes a perfect location for getting out and about in nature. In Hawes, 1 mile away, you’ll find a choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as the renowned Wensleydale Creamery and a lovely walk along the River Ure towards Garsdale Head (7.5 miles).
