Great location , well set out property with all the things you would need. A secure back area if you have dogs (no potential escape areas) which is a huge plus. Comfy bed. parking for 2 small cars directly outside. Good local pub at end of drive that serves food that is very good(does takeaway if asked) a couple of public footpaths to use with dRead moreogs if you need however it does involve some country lanes which can be a watch out. The Old Piggery was in a wonderful location - so close to beautiful scenery yet close enough to civilisation to have takeaways delivered! The decor and furnishings in the cottage were lovely and the owner was very helpful - suggesting suitable walks when our old dog and myself were starting to ache from hill walking.

Great location for exploring Sheffield and surrounding areas, very quiet and ideal for relaxing. Properly was very comfortable and very well appointed, shame the hot tub was out of commission when we visited. The Cricket Inn and the Crown Inn are great pubs with good menus, both within a few minutes walk from the property! We would certainly useRead more this property again when next in the area! Hide

Brilliant peaceful location. The Old Piggery has been well converted, but let down by poor circulation of under floor heating in bathroom (cold) and by a very old mattress that had us rolling together in the middle all night! Shower tray was close to overflowing on every use - probably needs drain cleaning. However, all easy stuff to fix I wouldRead more think. Hide
