This spacious countryside home is elegant and airy with a touch of eccentricity in the colour accents and quirky furnishings. Located in Harrogate, you’ll be surrounded by nature walking trails through the Yorkshire Dales, historical attractions and plenty of cosy rural pubs.

Enter the property and find yourself in the converted barn room for storing hay, which is now a spacious lounge with window seats looking out on the Dales. A vintage suitcase repurposed as a coffee table is in the centre of the room, in front of the charming, cosy seating. Continue into the kitchen to find a neutral space with pretty patterned floor tiles and floor-to-ceiling windows. Completing the ground floor is a utility room plus a snug/library with a wood burner and antique sofas. Upstairs, you’ll find a family bathroom plus four bedrooms – two en-suite king-size bedrooms, a double bedroom and a super-king-size zip and link. Outside are two terraced lawns with a walled kitchen garden, a badminton lawn, a BBQ and an outdoor dining set for up to 25 guests. For the little ones, there are swings in the wildflower meadow and table tennis. Private parking is available for two cars.

In Pateley Bridge, you’ll have independent shops, pubs and charming narrow streets on your doorstep.
