Host a group getaway with your loved ones at this spacious, stone-built countryside property for up to 14 guests and five dogs. Boasting a games barn, an elegant garden-view dining room with a wood burner and three lounges, one in the external annexe, it’ll be easy to keep your guests entertained. Set in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, you can spend some time exploring the nearby hiking trails, waterfalls and quaint towns.

Inside, the main lounge/drawing room is airy yet cosy with neutral-toned decor, beamed ceilings, a wood burner and an intricately decorated upright piano. The smaller second lounge has a more contemporary feel with a large corner sofa. Continue into the charming kitchen with chic countertops and a peninsula. Attached to this space is a utility room and an elegant yet rustic dining room with exposed stone walls, a wood burner and glass patio doors. Also on the ground floor is a snug/library room with a feature fireplace and a desk. Upstairs are five en-suite bedrooms, sharing the same cosy ambience as the ground floor. These include two king-size bedrooms, two twin zip-and-link bedrooms and one family room with a king-size bed plus a day bed. In addition to an external country-style annexe complete with a lounge, king-size bedroom, shower room and kitchenette, there is a games barn with pool and darts. Outside is an enclosed garden with a herb garden, a patio and furniture. There is private parking for eight cars.

While staying in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, in the south west area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, you’ll be 11.5 miles from the charming village of Ingleton. You could hike to the summit of Pen-y-ghent (1.5 miles) or wander along the 4-mile Ingleton Waterfalls Trail (11.5 miles).

A lovely house in a beautiful location, with a view of Pen Y Ghent. Very comfortable and well equipped. An excellent base for exploring the Dales. Very welcoming hosts.
