After spending four wonderful weeks at this beautiful barn in Thornton, we can honestly say it is the best place we have ever stayed in the areaand the only accommodation we would actively return to. The setting is simply stunning, with fabulous views that we never tired of waking up to each day. Inside, the barn is finished to an exceptionally Read morehigh standard, with quality furnishings, excellent facilities, and every comfort you could wish for. It felt like a true home from home, and by the end of our stay we genuinely didnt want to leave. What really sets this place apart, however, are the owners. They could not have been more welcoming, helpful, or accommodating throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They went out of their way to ensure our car could be charged and even purchased tools so that we could enjoy a BBQ. Any request we had was met with kindness and a genuine desire to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The combination of breathtaking surroundings, outstanding accommodation, and truly exceptional hosts makes this a very special place. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking to stay in the wider area. Five stars simply dont seem enough. Hide

A lovely, cosy and very well appointed cottage. The outside space is superb, breakfast outside, relax on the loungers or in the hot tub - definitely would recommend the cottage. We had a great weekend relaxing and exploring the area, which is famous Bront country.

The Stable is perfect for a peaceful getaway. It has been finished to a high quality and is extremely comfortable. Kitted out with everything you need for a home away from home break. With two dogs, there was plenty of outdoor space for them to wander about securely. Definitely one on the revisit list.
