This stylish cottage enjoys a fantastic location in the heart of the historic market town of Skipton, making it an ideal base for families and friends looking to explore North Yorkshire. Sleeping six guests across two double bedrooms and a twin, it places you just 200 metres from Skipton’s vibrant high street, where independent boutiques, galleries, welcoming pubs and excellent restaurants await.

Step inside the warm and inviting lounge/diner, thoughtfully finished with natural tones and comfortable furnishings. After a day of adventure, sink into one of the sofas to unwind with a book or watch a favourite film on the Smart TV. A foldable dining table provides space for mealtimes together. The separate kitchen features sleek shaker-style units and is fully equipped with everything needed for a self-catered stay. Upstairs, you’ll find two beautifully presented double bedrooms and a fresh, modern family bathroom. From one of the doubles, steep cottage stairs lead up to a cosy twin bedroom, which, with its low, sloping ceiling, is particularly suited to children. Outside, the enclosed patio garden offers a lovely spot in the warmer months. Fire up the BBQ for al fresco dining or simply sit back and relax with an evening drink. The property also benefits from secure bike storage in the outhouse and on-street parking nearby, subject to availability.

As you wander out from home, admire the town’s impressive architecture and pay a visit to the remarkable 900-year-old Skipton Castle. Scenic strolls can be enjoyed along the canal towpath and through Skipton Castle Woods, while further afield, you’ll find iconic Yorkshire Dales walking routes at Malham Cove (16 miles) and Bolton Abbey (6.5 miles). The elegant spa town of Harrogate also makes a wonderful day trip, 22 miles from your door.

We all had a very enjoyable 4 days at the house . All mod cons and the house was snuggly and warm . The decor is very nice and very comfortable beds with good bedding. The location was also good. For the price it was good value . We would definitely return in the future .

We had a great time at the cottage. It is a 5 minute walk into the centre of Skipton. It could sleep 4 adults & 2 children, but I think it would be a little cramped, but was ideal for the two of us. It was clean, comfortable & cosy. We'll definitely use it again when we're in Skipton
