This characterful and spacious holiday home is the ideal base for a memorable group getaway on the southern edge of the beautiful Nidderdale National Landscape. Renovated with large gatherings in mind, this unique property has plenty of space to come together and quiet corners to unwind.

Inside, the impressive entrance hall, with its exposed stone walls and glass roof, sets the tone on arrival. A handy ground-floor cloakroom sits at one end, while to your right, a generously sized lounge awaits with plush seating, a Smart TV and a contemporary wood burner set into a striking fireplace. Exposed beams and large windows create a bright and inviting atmosphere. A second living room is the setting for games and movie nights, complete with a large sofa, pool table and a Smart TV. The farmhouse kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for a crowd and includes a useful adjoining utility room. Share drinks and chat around the island while meals are prepared, before gathering in the spacious dining room, which features dual-aspect windows and an eye-catching fireplace. Upstairs, six comfortable bedrooms offer flexible layouts. Two rooms enjoy their own en-suite facilities – one a double, the other a super-king-size with an additional sofa bed. The remaining bedrooms comprise a double, twin, single and zip-and-link king-size setup, all served by a family bathroom. Outside, the multi-level garden provides another wonderful setting to relax. Savour an al fresco meal on the patio with BBQ and outdoor furniture, or bask on the lawns surrounded by greenery. With private parking for two cars, you’re free to settle in and explore the surrounding area at your own pace.

Take scenic walks straight from the doorstep, or head to nearby Chevin Forest Park, a stunning nature reserve overlooking the charming market town of Otley (1.5 miles). Otley’s cobbled streets are lined with independent shops, cosy inns and welcoming eateries, while a historic local pub on the edge of the forest serves delicious, locally sourced dishes. Absolutely amazing cottage we were a party of 7 adults 3 children age 11-13 & 3 dogs there was plenty of room. On arrival the lodge was so warm and welcoming and had everything we needed. As it was February we didn't use the garden as too cold but it would be lovely in warmer weather. Would definitely recommend.

We were a group of 10 ( 5 adults / 5 children) and one dog! The property was extremely spacious and we found it to be equipped to a high standard.
