Escape with your loved one and four-legged friend to this enticing cottage in Whitby. Sleeping two guests, the one-bedroom, pet-friendly hideaway is situated at the heart of the historic Yorkshire town and captures views towards the dramatic ruins of its famous abbey. Explore Whitby on foot and venture out along the coast or deep into the magnificent North York Moors during your stay.

Ascend a flight of external steps to let yourselves into this three-storey, romantic retreat. Find yourselves in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can cuddle up on the soft seating and share a bottle of chilled wine from the fridge. Find a film on the Smart TV and open the door to the Juliet balcony to bring in the salty sea air. Discover the kitchen, with its chic grey cabinets, contains everything you need to help you prepare delicious meals. There is also a table to dine at when you don’t feel like heading out to a nearby restaurant. The sumptuous king-size bedroom, with its splendid outlook, is on the floor above, together with the gorgeous en-suite bathroom with its sunken tub. Head up another set of stairs to emerge in a snug. Gaze out towards the abbey from here too or unwind on the sofa and look up at the stars. Savour the fresh air out in the shared courtyard on warm days. Sip a sundowner or enjoy a snack at the bistro table. Guests will receive a parking permit for on-street parking.

Potter in the town, with its narrow streets, colourful shops and historic sites. Climb the 199 steps up to the abbey set high on a cliff overlooking the North Sea. Walk 500 metres to the beach to dip in the sea. Plan a trip out to scenic Robin Hood’s Bay, 5.5 miles away.

Beautiful little cottage, ideally located, spotless and equipped to the max, bed is extremely comfortable, would highly recommend. Only slight negative is the parking, bit hit & miss where you can find a spot, but i think that's the sanme throughout Whitby. We would certainly stay again.
