This charming converted stable is an idyllic escape for solo travellers or couples, and welcomes furry friends too. Offering incredible views and direct access to beautiful walking trails, it’s perfect for anyone wanting to unwind in the heart of West Yorkshire’s stunning countryside.

A sensitive renovation has made the most of this former farm building, set all on one level with soaring ceilings and rugged beams. In the bright, open-plan living area, you can easily whip up meals in the compact kitchen area, equipped with that all-important coffee machine as well as a gas hob and electric oven. Dine at the elegant table, then sink into the plush seating to relax with a movie on the Smart TV. If you feel tired, you can always finish watching the film in your king-size bedroom, a restful sanctuary decorated in soft tones and with ambient lighting. Eye-catching tiles make the en-suite bathroom stand out – a subtly luxurious detail that complements the rest of this high-quality interior. The enclosed patio at the front is a sunny space in which to enjoy al fresco drinks and snacks, with off-road parking for one car provided for holiday convenience.

The cottage is set on the owner’s farm, on the doorstep of Gorpley Clough, where you’ll find scenic walks, waterfalls and plentiful wildlife. Gorpley Reservoir offers serene cycling and walking routes. Hebden Bridge, 7 miles away, is perfect for a day of browsing independent shops and enjoying riverside cafes. For literary inspiration, Haworth and the Bronte Parsonage Museum are 15.5 miles away, while the exhilarating landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, Peak District and Forest of Bowland are all within 30 miles.

We had a fantastic break in this lovely cottage. Lots of nice touches that made it special. We haven't explored this area of the country before and if we come back for more, which is very likely, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My wife and I (+2 spaniels) enjoyed a lovely break over the Easter weekend. The accommodation was all that we needed and the location is great. I left feeling rested and relaxed and I think that is due to where we stayed. Recommend highly.

This place was amazing. The fact that the owners had thought of everything showed how much thought had gone into the place. All the little touches like wipes for the dog's paws, the toiletries and the dog towels was lovely. Additionally, things like the candles and the softer furnishings gave a sense of luxury to the place. It is a lovely place to Read morerest and enjoy time in the countryside. Hide
