This luxurious barn conversion is bursting with character and retains many of its traditional features. Sleeping eight guests, it is perfect for large groups to escape the daily hustle and bustle and stay in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Park up in the private parking spots (where there is room for four cars) and head inside the rustic boot room. Shake off your coats and boots before heading through to the super spacious country-style kitchen/diner - the perfect space for sociable cooking with one another due to its handy central island and dining table. Get comfortable in the lounge in front of the wood burner and flick a film on the Smart TV. When you are ready for some shuteye, alight the stairs and find four welcoming bedrooms. There are two super-king size bedrooms, one of which contains an en-suite bathroom, as well as a double bedroom, and a king-size bedroom which all share the family bathroom. Outside is an enclosed garden with a patio and a large lawn. Enjoy al fresco dining out here while soaking up the tranquil views or playing games on the lawn with the whole group.

Enjoy pure peace and quiet from this rural spot, located in the small village of Burtersett. Travel down to the vibrant market town of Hawes (1.5 miles) where there are a couple of pubs, coffee shops, and museums. You will be perfectly situated to chase waterfalls from here too, with Hardraw Force and Cotter Force both within 5 miles. Don your hiking boots and climb the many fells of the Yorkshire Dales or take long walks along the Pennine Way which stretches through the Northern part of England to the Scottish borders.

The quality and location of this property are perfect. There is plenty of space inside and outside in the beautiful garden to relax and catch up with family or friends. The renovation is to the highest standard and has plenty of character. The house is very comfortable and is extremely clean. We look forward to our next holiday there.

What a stunning location! Great views from the property and walks/runs on your doorstep. We loved the walk across the fields to Hawes and onwards to the Green Dragon pub at Hardraw. Hillary Hall Barn was perfect for our first trip to Yorkshire Dales. The location was ideal for hikes. The accommodations were very comfortable and the hosts were easy to communicate with.

The beautiful Hillary Hall Barn had been restored to a really high standard. It was immaculately clean, with lots of attention to detail, welcome pack on arrival was very much enjoyed and appreciated, also the beautiful utensils (specifically the Emma Bridgwater selection of mugs!) and pots and pans etc seemed also really good quality too. The chilRead moredren loved their stay too, it was of much excitement to them that they had a Tv in their room too! What luxury! Recommend to anyone. Our dog also loved it too! Hide

Very comfortable beds, plentiful space downstairs. Well equiped dining kitchen and useful utility room. Decent wifi, good parking, on a variety of walking routes of various difficulties. Great area to explore the western dales.

A delightful converted barn in the heart of Wensleydale. Beautiful views across the valley, lovely kitchen dining space, and very comfortable beds. Cosy sitting room, large outdoor sitting area and garden in which children and dogs can frolic. Loads to do nearby for all ages. Hike over the ridge behind to Semerwater, or take the lovely easy walk ovRead moreer the fields to the pubs in Hawes, tour the cheese factory in Hawes or mill in Settle, take day trips to Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle or Ingleton and Ribblesdale.
