Pass through electric gates and follow a long private track to this peaceful hideaway. Inside, you’ll find a welcoming entrance hall for kicking off boots and hanging up coats after a countryside walk. The spacious open-plan living area is brimming with character, featuring arched windows, wooden floors, and striking exposed beams. The stylish, bespoke kitchen is well-equipped, with a breakfast bar for relaxed morning coffees and a dining table for sit-down meals. Cooking is a pleasure with the traditional Aga, ideal for preparing delicious feasts using fresh produce from Richmond’s Saturday market. After a day out, sink into the corner sofa in the lounge, where you can unwind with a film on the Smart TV or play your favourite music in the background. When it’s time to turn in, choose from two inviting bedrooms: a cosy twin room or a generous super king-size bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. For breathtaking landscapes, head to the Yorkshire Dales (18 miles) or North York Moors (14.5 miles), both offering hikes and scenic picnic spots. Northallerton (10.5 miles) is great for shopping and afternoon tea, while historic Richmond (also 10.5 miles) boasts a charming cobbled market square, an impressive Norman castle, and the atmospheric ruins of Easby Abbey. For a scenic journey, hop on the Wensleydale Railway from Scruton (5 miles) and enjoy a ride through some of Yorkshire's most beautiful countryside.

If you want a peaceful holiday this is the place to go . The cottage is lovely and we would be recommend to all . We have booked again !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, well equipped property, The setting is ideal for dog owners, our boarder collie loved the great open spaces and there is also a lovely woodland walk in the grounds. We have no hesitation in recommending this delightful property.

The location is fantastic . The hosts were so nice and we're there if you needed anything. Fantastic barn and kitchen was amazing so nice to sit outside as well in the walled garden.
