Staying above ground, admire the pretty waterfalls at Thornton Force (4 miles) and, on the outskirts of Ingleton, follow the Ingleton Waterfall Trail (3 miles). Also safely above ground, the feat of engineering that is the Ribblehead Viaduct can be admired from afar on a rewarding hike (9 miles).
