The cottage looked to be everything we would want from a stay in the Yorkshire Dales. A very picturesque location, with many walks straight from the door. However, the cleanliness and general upkeep let us down, as did the damp carpet by the main bedroom patio door. The property lacked some of the basics needed for a self catering stay.
