Very enjoyable 2nd visit to this property. We love everything about the property, but the biggest bonus for us is the enclosed garden for us and our elderly rescue dog, she loves it . Will return again when possible!!!!!

Oakleigh was everything we could have hoped for. We had an amazing few days awayit was exactly what we needed. The Yorkshire Dales are absolutely outstanding: peaceful, relaxing, and full of charm, with incredibly friendly locals. Waking up and looking out of the bedroom window to see beautiful green fields, with rare sheep as your neighbours, wRead moreas just wonderful. We genuinely didnt want to come home. The beds were very comfortable, and the cottage itself was lovely and exceptionally well equipped. Having a dining room made a real differenceit was so nice to sit together properly at the table, whether in the dining room or the kitchen. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Hide

Had a fantastic few days here. It really is in a beautiful remote location, but Settle is easily reached in 10 mins driving. The outside space is great and perfect for a dog as it is fully enclosed. The property is very nice inside and cosy comfortable. The downstairs bedroom is also great for anyone with mobility issues. Would definitely recommendRead more !!! Hide

On the plus side, the cottage was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable, with lovely views. A great location for walking. Shower pressure upstairs great, we didnt use the downstairs en-suite. Our dog enjoyed the garden, there was a hose to clean him off after muddy walks. Lots of good places to eat nearby if you had a car (essential). What could bRead moree better - the lack of a washing machine would have been a big negative for longer stays, we were only here for four days. Bathroom got very slippery after showers, tricky if you had limited mobility. Hide

We loved our time at Rathmell with our 2 teen daughters and dog. Walked up Pen-y-Ghent, Sunday roast at the Craven Arms and visited Settle. The cottage had everything we needed and the views from the windows of the sheep and hills were stunning.
