An impressive apartment, set within an elegant period building, this inviting retreat offers spacious, first-floor accommodation in the heart of Whitby. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom bolthole sits right opposite Pannett Park, with its ornate landscaping and magnificent views. From here, stroll 0.5 miles down to the harbour and the famous Dracula Experience, then cross the River Esk to climb the celebrated 199 steps to see the remains of Whitby Abbey, which feature in Bram Stoker’s renowned gothic tale. Potter in the town’s shops and dine out in its many restaurants. Stroll 0.5 miles down to Whitby’s sandy beach, where you can swim, picnic and potter in rock pools. Pick up the Cleveland Way and strike out along the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast, perhaps venturing 7 miles to picture-postcard Robin Hood’s Bay. Also, venture out into the North York Moors National Park with its impressive walks and dramatic landscapes.

Make your way up the steps and into the beautiful red-brick apartment building. Head up to the first floor to find your private quarters. Wander inside to find light-filled, generous accommodation that has been finished with flair. At the centre of the apartment is a stylish, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can enjoy a little downtime together after your days out exploring historic Whitby and its surroundings. At one end of the room is a chic kitchen area with everything you will need to help you cater for yourselves whenever you choose not to dine out. There is also a long table where you can gather for jolly holiday meals together. Settle on the comfortable, grey seating to take in the leafy views through the windows or catch up on your favourite boxset on the Smart TV. When you are ready to retire for the night, make your way through to one of the sumptuous double bedrooms, both of which have a style similar to a boutique hotel. Each has ample storage, and one boasts a Juliet balcony. There is also an immaculate family shower room.
