A beautiful stone cottage in the heart of the glorious Yorkshire Dales National Park. Peaceful location offering wonderful countryside views and your own private hot tub. Exudes character and charm with exposed stone walls and original beams throughout. Set in the delightful village of West Burton, this enticing property sleeps six guests. Spacious, cosy and comfortable, it is perfect for a family or group of friends planning to explore the scenic delights on their doorstep. You’ll discover one of the Dales’ prettiest villages, with a picture-postcard green housing a market cross and stocks, an excellent country pub serving food and the rushing Cauldron Falls. Surrounded by rolling hills, dales and streams, this is perfect walking country. Visit the National Park visitor centre at spectacular Aysgarth Falls (2 miles), where you can pick up guides to local trails. Snap up local produce in the bustling market town of Hawes (11 miles) and tour the Wensleydale Creamery to taste-test the different varieties of this renowned cheese. Explore historic Bolton Castle (5 miles), where Mary Queen of Scots was famously held captive, and see its medieval gardens.

After a great day out in the Dales, shed your walking boots in the handy utility room and enter the spacious, light-filled lounge. Housing comfortable seating before a wood burner and Smart TV, this inviting interior combines contemporary style and country charm, with soft neutral shades. There’s also a small office corner with a desk. Enjoy lovely country views from every room, including the bright dining room, where French doors open onto a rear terrace. Leading off, the pretty, well-planned kitchen is a great incentive to rustle up hearty meals, using local produce from the village farm shop. Upstairs, find three delightful bedrooms: two king-size, one with an en-suite shower room, and a twin, all with skylights that enhance their cosy cottage ambience. A family bathroom completes this floor.

Outside, savour the tranquil landscape from the rear terrace, which features an original, covered well, and enjoy a restorative soak in the hot tub or quiet moment on the outdoor seating. Or relax on outdoor furniture in the front garden patio and fire up the BBQ.
