This traditional terrace cottage is just a stone’s throw from the centre of Ilkley (0.5 miles) and only a few miles from the edge of the world-famous Yorkshire Dales. The five-person property boasts uninterrupted views of Ilkley Moor (3 miles), a perfect starting point for hiking adventures within effortless reach of home. Explore beauty spots such as the Cow and Calf Rocks (1.5 miles) before heading into town to enjoy some well-earned refreshments, perhaps at the iconic Betty’s Tearoom. After days full of adventure, relax in front of the cosy wood burner.

Enjoying stylish decor, bespoke fixtures, and quality interiors, this three-storey cottage will add a touch of luxury to your getaway. Upon entering, discover an inviting lounge with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, a collection of board games, and a wood burner - everything you need for a restful night in. Through a doorway, a sociable kitchen/diner provides space to rustle up something tasty, with room to keep the cook company and a dining table to sit down together. Moving upstairs, find the first set of bedrooms - a single and a twin - alongside the first of two bathrooms. A final flight leads to the second floor, featuring a king-size bedroom and an additional bathroom. Outside, a small, south-facing furnished patio is the perfect spot for sitting and admiring the view with your morning coffee.

Leave the car behind and explore Ilkley on foot. On summer days, wander down to the park on the banks of the River Wharfe (0.5 miles), take a dip in the lido (1 mile), or tee off at Ilkley Golf Club (1 mile). Further appealing activities await in the neighbouring town of Skipton, just 9.5 miles away. This medieval market town is home to an ancient castle, scenic woodlands, boutiques, restaurants, and the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.

Ilkley Moor View cottage is nestled on the edge of the industrial estate in Ilkley. The owners have extended the kitchen to cover the rear yard, creating the kitchen/diner. The only outdoor space is at the front of the cottage with a smashing view of Ilkley Moor, if you can tolerate the fumes from the industrial estate. It is an ideal base for aRead more car-free holiday, being a short walk from Ilkley railway station. (Leave via the Railway Road exit, rather then the town centre.) Walk the moors from the front door or follow the Dales Way along the river (kingfishers, herons and egrets) to Bolton Abbey. The latter is serviced by bus (but not on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Sundays). The model town of Saltaire (Salts Mill and Hockney) can be reached by train to Shipley, followed by a lovely walk along the canal. Unfortunately all three single beds were uncomfortably hard for this petite visitors. Note that the rear single bedroom has no space for a bedside table or lamp. Rather disconcertingly, the bathroom door cannot be locked. Beware that the shower in this room has been plumbed in back to front, so that turning the dial towards blue results, counterintuitively, in hotter water. The Indian summer ended on the day that we arrived and the splendid view of Ilkley Moor was hidden behind driving rain on several occasions. Great accommodation in a central location close to the centre of Ilkley. Very clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Fully kitted out with all the mod cons. Would definitely recommend. On street parking only but we always found a space.

Excellent and quiet location. 5 minute walk to Booths supermarket, 10 minutes to station and about 15 to town. Bedrooms and bathrooms spacious and clean. We never had a problem parking on the street nearby.

Beautifully decorated and great location. Lovely views and a great base for easy access to town centre. Lots of walks from the front door too, which we werent expecting. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house is very nice. There is a lot of very modern items. The neighborhood is calm and the view of the ilkley moutain is pleasant.

We had a great stay in the cottage. Parking was never a problem despite only being a ten minute stroll into town. Booths is a short walk away, and is almost a tourist attraction in itself! It was super clean. And a lock box entry is always welcome.

We really loved Ilkley Moor View Cottage! As the name suggests, the view of the moors was exceptional. Location was ideal as we were close to a grocery store and two chippys. Walk to the train/bus station and all the downtown shops and restaurants was easy. The cottage itself was newly and wonderfully decorated and super comfortable. The wallpaper Read morein the kitchen was a big hit with all of us! Kitchen and bathrooms were very modern and well equipped. Communication with property manager was great when we needed help getting the heat turned back on. Will definitely stay here again when we come back. Hide

The location and home are very good, Lack of towels, toilet rolls, no coffee pods provided. There was a leak preventing us using 2nd bathroom for 2 days.

An excellent traditional terraced stone cottage, furnished tastefully and immaculately (to a very high modern spec) in a great location for walking to shops, restaurants, hikes, and all Ilkleys great, attractions, as well as the train station and onward links elsewhere in Yorkshire and beyond via Leeds.
