Rustic character meets modern luxury in this beautifully restored barn conversion, where original beams, exposed stone walls, and lovingly preserved features create a truly unique retreat for couples, friends or family. Take a stroll to Helwith Bridge, 500 metres away, where a fantastic pub awaits, or for a sweet treat, head to Studfold, 500 metres in the opposite direction. Visit Horton-in-Ribblesdale (2.5 miles) another popular village to wander. For those craving adventure, tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks or enjoy a gentler walk around Ribblehead (8 miles), where you can admire the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct. Families will love Ingleton (10 miles), a charming village known for its waterfalls trail and caves, while Hawes (18 miles) is home to the famous Wensleydale Creamery, offering the chance to sample local cheese. Closer to home, Settle (4 miles) is a lovely market town with independent shops, cafes, and access to the Settle-Carlisle railway, one of the most picturesque train routes in the country.

Thoughtfully designed to retain its historic character, this stylish getaway offers spacious open plan living, luxurious touches throughout, and breathtaking countryside views. As you enter, you'll be greeted by a bright and airy open-plan living space, perfect for socialising and unwinding. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious meals and a breakfast bar for a quick bite on the go. Alternatively, the dining area is ideal for gathering to enjoy a family feast or playing board games in the evening. A cosy snug area with a Smart TV invites you to curl up with a film or your favourite box set, or head to the separate lounge, where plush seating, an electric wood burner-effect fire, and far-reaching views from the original barn windows create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A utility room leading to a cloakroom ensures convenience during your stay. On the ground floor, you’ll also find a versatile twin bedroom with zip-and-link beds, which can be configured as a super-king to suit your group’s needs. Climb the staircase to discover two bedrooms – a super-king-size and a king-size – tucked under the sloping eaves of the roof, each with its own en-suite. Finished in soft, neutral tones, these inviting bedrooms promise a restful night’s sleep in this quiet, rural location.

Step outside to your private enclosed garden, where a large patio area with seating invites you to dine al fresco or sip a glass of wine as you soak in the peaceful surroundings. Fire up the charcoal BBQ for an evening meal, then sink into the bubbling hot tub for a little indulgence under the stars. From time the steam trains pass on the Carlisle line and can be seen from the patio area for all to enjoy. Off-road parking for 4 cars is provided, ensuring your stay is hassle-free.

Wow what a wonderful stay weve had and what an amazing special place you have created! Every little detail is thought out so well! Including everything in the kitchen - the air fryer and liners are a brilliant addition! Weve enjoyed family meals every night and we did try the Helwith Bridge Inn (the white one you can see in the distance) which was Read moredelicious. I came on my own with the 4 girls and dog on Wednesday before Dad joined Friday evening after work and felt very safe and secure on my own. We have all relaxed, enjoyed family time together with lots of giggles and loved watching all the views. Especially Gus who loved the low window seat! The hot tub has been thoroughly enjoyed and everything was so easy with the fabulous welcome folder. The beds were so comfortable and what fabulous showers and bath! We hardly ever visit a place twice but I really hope we come back again! Its been the perfect half term refresh. Thank you, Lucy, Andy, Lacey, Annie, Flora, Faith and Gus Hide

If you need to escape to the countryside to just sit and look at rolling hills for miles and miles then this is the property for you. Absolutely stunning place and I cannot praise the Barn enough, with breath taking views from every window. The Barn had everything you needed down to the little detail such as dressing gowns for the hot tub, which Read moreby the way was great. Had every kitchen utensil you can ask for with one of the best welcome packs we have ever had in the property. Milk, cordial, biscuits, Yorkshire cake, tea, coffee, sugar, toiler roll, crisps, salt and pepper and oil. Coffee pods too for the coffee machine. You can walk to Settle which is a great market town with lots of bespoke shops, cafes and pubs. We will definitely be back. Hide
