The waterside retreat is reached via a sweeping walkway or a flight of stairs. Once inside, leave coats and walking boots in the hallway, before heading through to the stylish lounge/diner. Relax in here after a day of exploring, watching the canal boats from the comfort of the corner sofa or catching up on your favourite programmes on the TV. The town hosts regular markets, where you can pick up delicious local produce and handmade gifts. It also has a great range of independent shops and boutiques. Enjoy walks along the canal towpath, or head into Skipton Castle Woods for a stroll amongst the trees. Alternatively, board one of the heritage locomotives of the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway and take a relaxing jaunt through the surrounding countryside.
