Celebrate special occasions with extended family and beloved friends at this impeccable country cottage, offering endless space for 15 guests. Overflowing with peace and solitude, the detached farmhouse is set on a quiet country road, just 8 miles from the ‘Capital of the Wolds’ town of Driffield. With a rich history and a fantastic starting point for plenty of walks and cycling routes, Driffield is a wonderful spot to embark on all kinds of East Yorkshire adventures. Explore The Wold Rangers Way, a 43-mile circular route that leads through lush greenery and bridleways or follow The Minster Way, which connects York (35 miles) and Beverley (26.5 miles). Along the coast, visit vibrant Bridlington (6 miles), the scenic seaside town of Filey (7 miles) and the RSPB Bempton Cliffs (11 miles), home to spectacular wildlife and seabirds.

Set out over three storeys, there’s so much space to unwind in at this traditional country cottage. The property overflows with character, offering exposed brickwork, curved archways and low beams throughout. Let family life centre around the large kitchen/diner, a farmhouse-style room with ample space for food preparation and a dining table to raise a glass around. After dinner, relax in one of two lounge – one for quiet relaxation and the other for movie nights with a Smart TV. For friendly competition, the games room features a pool table and darts board. The ground floor also has a utility room with laundry facilities and a downstairs WC. Continuing upstairs, find five bedrooms, each offering comfy mattresses, fresh linens and a comfortable place to rest your head. The largest of the rooms is a king-size with an impressive four-poster bed, ample storage and an en-suite shower room. The remaining rooms, two king-size, one twin and a single, share access to a family bathroom with shower over bath. On the second floor, discover a large family room sleeping a total of six guests in six single beds. This room is perfect for younger sharers, complete with an en-suite shower room.

An enviable destination during the summer, this property is surrounded by ample outdoor space. At the front of the house, find an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ – a great spot for pets and children to play.
