Enjoy a magical stay with loved ones staying in this traditional farmhouse in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Located near Garsdale Station with sweeping views over the station and Dandymire Viaduct, this three-bedroom holiday home welcomes six guests and two beloved pups. After enthralling days roaming dales and fells, and exploring market towns and ruined castles, return here for al fresco feasts in the garden and cosy evenings by the wood burner.

Perched in an elevated spot, this two-storey Dark Skies approved accommodation by YDNP farmhouse is warm and welcoming with a relaxed rural decor. With dual-aspect windows overlooking sweeping moorland, a warming wood burner and an assortment of seating, the lounge invites relaxation after a day on the trails. When tummies start rumbling, a spacious, country-style kitchen set on flagstone flooring is beautifully equipped for cooking up a feast, with a farmhouse-style dining table and wood burner for cosy mealtimes. When night falls, head upstairs to find three relaxing bedrooms, a king-size, a double and a twin, each with far-reaching country views. They share use of a family bathroom, also on the first floor. Outside, an enclosed, split-level garden and patio offers space for outdoor dining and a grassy garden for dogs and kids to play. There’s private parking for three cars.

A dream destination for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, there are ample trails from your front door and within the near vicinity of this property, including the Aysgarth Falls (15.5 miles). History enthusiasts will enjoy the sight of steam trains on the Settle to Carlisle line and can hop on for a ride from Garsdale Station. The ruins of Pendragon Castle are among the many historic sites to explore in the region, while the market town of Hawes, home to the famous Wensleydale Creamery, is just 6 miles.

Honestly, I would highly recommend Low Moor Farm. It is situated just inside Cumbria from Yorkshire and so accessible to so many highlights from the Lakes to the Dales. Very peaceful and picturesque. The cottage itself is wonderful and welcoming with a very wood fired stove for cooler evenings. Immaculately clean and equipped with literally everythRead moreing you might need. Beautifully decorated throughout. Outside the dogs enjoyed the walled garden area and has a great patio area with table and chairs to enjoy the views, fire pit and BBQ. Hide

Many thanks for a great stay. A very nicely equipped house which was warm and comfortable. A good location to go north, south or east into the Dales. A really nice touch was the Easter goodies left for the two grandchildren that they loved. Very comfortable beds and some lovely views from the front windows over the valley and the viaduct.

Absolutely fabulous. Beautiful farmhouse cottage. Amazing location with beautiful views. Even had the joy of seeing a steam train chugging past over the viaduct in the distance. Ideally located to see so much if the Dales and Cumbria. Hugely relaxing. Amazing dark skies at night aided by very minimal light pollution. Loved it. Already booked my nexRead moret visit. Hide

The property was decorated for Christmas which was a very nice touch, the kitchen had every bit of equipment we could ask for and the welcome pack was great. Beds super comfy and we slept so well.
