Property code: OC-H30283

Discover this rural hideaway on the Hob Green Estate, an all-year-round destination for couples. Set within 870 acres of rolling countryside, the Estate is a haven for ‘outdoorsy’ guests, with ancient woodlands, meadows, streams and thriving, manicured gardens, no matter the season. When you’re not exploring the exceptional grounds, visit the captivating National Trust property, Fountains Abbey (5.5 miles), with its awe-inspiring water garden and antiquated abbey ruins. Step back into the Victorian era with a drive to Harrogate (7.5 miles). This boutique spa town is buzzing with an eclectic cultural scene of events, a traditional Turkish Bath experience, and boasts some of the finest dining experiences in the north. Alternatively, explore the area by boat and practice your rowing skills under the world-renowned viaduct in Knaresborough (8 miles).

Park in the dedicated area, wander through the spectacular gardens, and onto your private terrace. Open the side door, and your bedroom will greet you. Venture into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where high-pitched ceilings, exposed beams, floor-to-ceiling doors and underfloor heating make for the cosiest evenings with your loved one. Snuggle up on the leather seating in front of the wood burner and watch a film on the Smart TV or, perhaps, grab a board game from the dresser. When it’s time to eat, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need to whip up a meal for two, while the dining table is ideal for intimate dinners over candlelight. Find a washing machine in the utility cupboard. Through into the bedroom is the pillow-laden super-king bed. Enjoy long lie-ins each morning before getting ready with the clothes stored in the bespoke Indian wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom sports an elegant roll-top bath with a large walk-in shower and WC, and even has robes and slippers for that added spa-like relaxation.

Outside is the highlight of the show, with its private flagstone terrace and furniture from which to sip your morning brew. Here, you are surrounded by incredibly well-kept landscaped gardens, which are a joy to admire each day of your stay. You even have access to roam the main gardens at your perusal. Parking is private and is available for one car.
