Offering a skilfully balanced blend of original cottage features with modern creature comforts, this beautiful cottage can accommodate four guests on the outskirts of Halifax. It’s located on a quiet, peaceful country road in the Conservation Area of Warley, close to some of West Yorkshire’s prettiest towns and villages. Halifax itself is a former mill town, its town centre just 3 miles and offering attractions, including the Grade II-listed event space of The Piece Hall and the beloved children’s learning centre, Eureka aswel as Shibden Hall. Further fabulous locales make up the Calderdale Valley, including the scenic town of Sowerby Bridge (1.5 miles) and the ever-picturesque Hebden Bridge (5 miles). The wonderful villages of Howarth and Holmfirth are also within 20 miles. Traverse the moorlands, gritstone hillsides and panoramic views along the River Calder with a walk along the Calderdale Way. This long-distance walking route really displays the spectacular rugged beauty of the area.

Benefiting from its original beauty as much as its modern features, this expertly updated terrace cottage features exposed stone walls, handsome beams, a bespoke kitchen and a contemporary-styled bathroom. Enter the lounge, where parquet flooring and stylish, neutral accents add to the overall charm. Comfy seating is positioned opposite a wood burner and a Smart TV, altogether creating the perfect chill-out spot for late at night. In the corner, find a breakfast bar and two stools for effortless dining or to be used as a handy office space. Step through into the attractive kitchen with a neatly tucked away utility cupboard and direct access to the patio. Moving upstairs, the first floor is split into two bedrooms with an accompanying shower room. The master bedroom is a beautifully presented double with wardrobe space, a dressing table and a ladder leading up to a secret mezzanine hideaway. This spot features bean bags, creating a cute reading nook. To complete the accomodation is the twin bedroom.

Grab your morning coffee or an easy sundowner and step out onto the patio. The fully decked terrace is enclosed and features a bistro set for sitting alfresco. Find another enclosed outdoor space at the front of the house, perfect for sitting out and admiring the scenery.
