The cottage was well presented, was warm with the lights and heating turned on when we arrived in the dark. The layout was comfortable, with a nice welcome basket on the side. It was a great location to escape to, away from the busy London life. There were great views from the garden, with a nice seating area and bbq if we wanted to use it. Good loRead morecation to get into all the local areas. The owners were lovely people and made us feel welcome. Hide

Having travelled to see family members, we decided to book a couple of nights stay as an extra little get away before coming home. Having searched online for ages, when I saw Swallows Nest it instantly caught my eye as a lovely place and close to local points of interest. Clear instructions were provided so I knew exactly what to expect and do wheRead moren arriving. Upon entering the property we was taken aback by how beautiful and cosy it was. The attention to decor, furnishings & utilities was 10/10. Also, the property was kept very warm during our stay. We visited during a cold snap but was never once cold when - was lovely. Everything was there that we needed for our stay, and was very nice that some treats were left for our little doggy companion. I would 100% recommend and will love to be back again in the future. Thank you so much for giving us such a luxurious & comfortable stay despite only being booked for a couple of nights ! Hide

The cottage is gorgeous, the sofa and bed very comfortable, the shower is great and the kitchen is lovely. Perfect to come back to after walks, the area is beautiful for local outings and well placed for the Tees, the Dales, North Pennines/Cumbria.
