Inside, this traditional, two-storey cottage is bursting with character and charm with a warm and inviting ambiance. Store coats and muddy boots in the convenient entrance porch before stepping into the cosy lounge. With beamed ceilings, a stone fireplace with a wood burner and an assortment of comfortable seating, it sets the scene for relaxing evenings with your loved ones. The farmhouse-style kitchen is a dream for keen chefs with an electric range cooker and modern appliances, while the dining room invites family meals and gatherings with another wood burner providing added cosiness. When it''s time to rest your head, three welcoming bedrooms await on the first floor, two super-king-size and one twin, each with picture-perfect country views and comfortable beds. One of only two natural lakes in the Dales, Semerwater offers a variety of outdoors activities, from fishing and birdwatching to walking, cycling, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing. Keen walkers can walk part of the Pennine Way and follow a picturesque trail to Aysgarth Falls (9 miles), while the market town of Hawes (5.5 miles) has a number of traditional shops and is home to the famed Wensleydale Creamery.

Absolutely amazing time spent in West end cottage, the location is so beautiful and walks with he dogs were amazing. The cottage has been finished to a high standard while in keeping with that cottage feel, beds are amazing, woodburners a dream and the aga provided the much needed warmth when back from the walks. 10/10 we will definitely be stayiRead moreng again.
