With a terrace overlooking the lake and direct access to water sports, wild swimming and lakeside strolls, it''s offers the ultimate Lake District escape.

Perched on raised decking, this accessible glamping pod is the ideal blend of comfort and nature. Constructed from wood in a studio-style layout, it has an open-plan living and sleeping area along with an internal shower room. Rustle up simple suppers and hearty breakfasts in the fully equipped kitchenette, then dine inside or out with a table inside and another on the terrace. The sofa bed invites relaxation after active days and doubles as a bed for two children, while the comfortable double promises a restful night''s sleep. This wooden glamping pod has a series of accessible measures, including an access ramp, lower worktops, under-sink space for wheelchairs, lower shirt rails in the wardrobe, room to manoeuvre a wheelchair and a shower grab rail and stool. It benefits from a designated parking spot, with space on site to charge an EV (at additional cost).

Guests are invited to bring paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks with them to explore the lake, while this pod has easy access for wild swimming and strolls around the lake and through woodland. A network of buses and ferries ensures easy access to Lakeland towns and attractions, including the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, a steam line through spectacular scenery on the lake''s southern shores.

A beautiful, refreshing getaway right next to the lakefront. For us it was the perfect mix - relaxing in the cottage, going for nearby hikes, or just gazing out at the waterbirds - we would love to return one day.
