Yorkshire’s spectacular coastal landscape is also just a drive away, with nearby Bridlington (9.5 miles) offering heaps of seaside appeals including a wide, sandy beach, seafront amusements and no shortage of quality fish and chip shops. Along the coast, Filey (9.5 miles) and Scarborough (14 miles) are also well worth your time.
