Caves, waterfalls, mountains and mighty viaducts are just some of the amazing appeals that sit in this corner of the Yorkshire Dales, all accessible from the chocolate box village of Ingleton. Not far from the centre of the village, this lovely, first-floor apartment invites four guests to stay in exceptional comfort. Made for small families or couples eager to seek out the beauty of this national park, you can fill every day with a variety of adventures before heading home to unwind in the inviting lounge, or catch the sunset from the peaceful garden.
Everything’s located on one light-filled floor in this marvellous apartment, so move on up to the first floor and feel instantly at home. The lounge/diner welcomes slow evenings filled with restful activities, complete with an L-shaped sofa positioned opposite a Smart TV, inviting you to catch up on a family-favourite box set. Meals can be prepped in the well-equipped kitchen just across the hallway and you can choose to dine either indoors or out in the fully enclosed, lawn and patio garden. Back indoors, a hallway gives way to two bedrooms, one king-size and a cosy twin that younger guests will love. Both are served by a family bathroom complete with a shower-over-bath, allowing you to soak aching muscles in whichever way you prefer.
Hikers and mountain bikers will delight in the ample opportunities for outdoor excursions that lay on this property’s doorstep. The famous mountain of Ingleborough is just outside of the village (4 miles), part of Yorkshire’s famed Three Peaks walking route which also incorporates Whernside (7.5 miles) and Pen-y-ghent (12.5 miles) into one easy-to-follow route. On the edge of Ingleborough, you’ll find Ingleborough Cave (6 miles), a jaw-dropping 500m-deep cave that offers an incredible attraction for visitors of all ages.
