Have a group holiday to rival all others when you book this splendid retreat for 18 guests. Ideal for that special celebration or long-awaited extended family getaway, it is set in attractive grounds near Ropsley, 8 miles from Grantham, making it exceptionally accessible from across the country. With lots of walks and cycle rides in the area, this sizeable holiday home has three open fires and a lovely courtyard where you can dine outside together.

Make your way inside via the impressive reception hall, with its flagstone floor. Spread out into one of the two lovely lounges to light the open fires, play games or watch TV. The kitchen/diner is also a generous space where you can gather. Form teams to take turns at preparing delicious dinners and gather round the table to chat over a cup of tea. Congregate in the spectacular dining hall, with its vaulted ceiling and exposed stone walls, for mouth-watering feasts together. In addition to the main kitchen, there is also a catering kitchen downstairs, with additional appliances and accessories. A family shower room and an additional WC are also at this level. Follow a flight of stairs up from the catering kitchen to find a twin bedroom. The rest of the bedrooms are accessed via the central staircase. These include a super-king-size with an en-suite bathroom, five doubles, two of which have en-suite bathrooms, and a twin. There is also a family bathroom and a family shower room. Another double bedroom, with an en-suite shower room, is accessed from outside. Gather round the garden tables for al fresco lunches in the summer sunshine. Go for an evening stroll across the beautiful lawns.

Visit historic Belvoir Castle, 14.5 miles away, or walk up to the National Trust’s historic Belmount Tower on the Belton Estate, 6 miles away, for far-reaching views.
