Whilst there are so many walks, bike rides and outdoor adventures to sink into on your doorstep, the property itself also offers an abundance of appeals for multi-generational groups. Bring together an extended family or friendship group of eight guests, letting young ones enjoy the sunken trampoline, the games room and the large lawned garden whilst the adults experience the hot tub and other attractive features.

Elegantly presented across all four corners, this spectacular holiday home is a true luxury destination. On the ground floor, discover two separate lounges with Sky Smart TVs and multi-fuel wood burners, each creating the cosiest spot to curl up for movie night. A bespoke fitted kitchen is a chef’s delight and a large dining table in the first lounge invites every guest to sit down together. You can, of course, step into the seemingly endless garden to dine outdoors or fire up the BBQ. Back inside, four bedrooms await, each as lavish and inviting as the last.

A short drive away, Appleby-in-Westmorland (6 miles) is an ancient Cumbrian market town at the heart of the Eden Valley. The River Eden gently tumbles through this picturesque town and a castle is a splendid spot offering tours and regular events. An easy-going walk takes you from the town centre to the enticing waterfall, Rutter Force (8 miles). If you prefer to see the beautiful surrounding scenery from the comfort of a train, board the famed Settle to Carlisle route from Appleby, heading in the direction of Settle to cross the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct.
