Chapel End cottage was a well located and provisioned location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage had character and we looked forward to coming back to it after a day of hiking. Great proximity to Richmond, Hawes, Ayesgarth and Hard raw falls which were both excellent. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Karen and Phil

Located in beautiful countryside, this cottage is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was really well equipped and the two bathrooms an added bonus. There is a play park and small football pitch 200 yards along the road which my 5 year old grandson loved. One annoying thing was the very creaky stairs up to the bedrooms. The shower was also noisRead morey, but the view from the garden was fabulous. Hide

We loved our stay at Chapel End. It was a lovely setting for a winter holiday with the use of the log burner. I'm sure it would be lovely in summer too, when it would be possible to sit in the garden and watch the world go by. The cottage was well located with easy access around the Dales, but there were also lots of lovely walks from the door. Read more The cottage was very well equipped and provided everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the welcome biscuits and bottle of mulled wine. Communication with the owners, when required, was easy and they always responded promptly. We especially appreciated the EV charger which meant we could travel around without having to look for charging points as we knew we could charge up overnight. Hide
