Luxuriate in the steaming bubbles of your own private hot tub as you gaze out across the spectacular Yorkshire Dales. Sleeping eight guests, this four-bedroom cottage in Aysgarth has been carefully renovated to offer stylish living spaces and a sumptuous interior. With a wood burner for winter evenings in together and a deck for outside dining in the summer, the 300 year-old retreat is also happy to welcome canine companions with open paws.
Wander inside to make yourselves comfortable in the beamed lounge, which has underfloor heating and a Smart TV. Fire up the wood burner in here during the colder months. There is also a snug, with an additional TV and doors that pull back on to the decking, where you can unwind. This room can be used as an additional double bedroom if required. Gather in the stylish kitchen/diner to take turns at preparing delicious meals with the fresh Yorkshire ingredients you have sourced and to feast together at the table. There is also a chic family bathroom on this floor. Make your way upstairs to a twin bedroom and two doubles, one with an en-suite shower room, on the first floor of the cottage. There is also a family shower room here. The final bedroom, a king-size with an elegant, freestanding bath in the room itself, is on the floor above. Spill out into the sunshine of the deck to fire up the hot tub and take in the far-reaching views.
Stroll out from the cottage to explore Wensleydale on foot. Walk 1 mile to see the famous Aysgarth Falls, which have been the backdrop to scenes from many movies including Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Wuthering Heights. Plan an afternoon out to Bolton Castle, one of the country’s best preserved medieval castles, 4.5 miles away.
