We were delighted with the garden, the privacy, the location. Very grateful for the welcome basket and all the comforts of the cottage, especially the blankets as the weather was a little cool for the time of year. The traffic was a bit noisy at times but that's to be expected.

Up stairs was also very clean, bed was very comfy and the large walk in shower was great. Parking right outside the cottage was a god send. plenty of walks around Hutton le hole with our old dog watching the swallows and swifts collecting mud from the banks of the stream and making there nests on the other cottages. caf and bakery were ok (expensive) sat outside the pub . Sat in in the garden most mornings and evenings watching and listening to all the birds and sheep. over all a Brilliant stay at Hollyside and will be back and would highly recommend Hide

The cottage was lovely and cosy, with the addition of an open fire on cold evenings. A well equipped, comfortable place with great views of the village green. The rear garden having a good selection of outdoor furniture is a great little sun trap with the beck running at the bottom of the garden.

We had a lovely stay here; the cottage is beautifully decorated and really cosy- we had a lot of wet weather when we stayed over new year so it was nice to light the fire every evening. The garden is beautiful, with the beck running along the bottom; though mid winter isn't the best time to appreciate it!
