The ground floor also offers a country-style kitchen/diner perfect for preparing and sharing your favourite dishes. There are two fresh, cheerful bedrooms. Heading along the coast, the thriving resort of Whitby (12 miles) has a beautiful beach, the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and the remains of the historic abbey.
