Enjoy the lakes and wildlife that surround you in this welcoming lodge, perfect for a couple’s getaway or family break. It’s set on a luxury holiday park close to the small city of Beverley, and within a few miles of the beaches of Yorkshire’s East Coast.

This lovely holiday escape is a comfortable home-from-home for up to four people and two pets. An open-plan living area combines a lounge with a corner sofa and Smart TV, a dining space and a kitchen with built-in appliances. Light floods in to this airy room, thanks to large windows and the glazed doors to the deck, and it’s a great place in which to rest, relax and recharge. The two bedrooms, a double and a twin, are on the same level. They both have clothes storage in the form of built-in wardrobes, and share the family bathroom. The south-facing, wraparound deck has a bistro dining set and is the perfect spot for a morning cuppa or a pre-dinner drink while enjoying the fresh Yorkshire air.

The lakes and park have been specially cultivated to encourage natural diversity, and from your deck you may spot deer, hares, swans, ducks, sand martins and herons. What a delight! Here you can fish, boat on the lake or sit back in the tea room with a cake and, if you’re feeling energetic, there are scenic walks of up to 3km through the parkland, and a cycle path from the front door. Head into Beverley, 6 miles, for some retail therapy and great restaurants, or pack your buckets and spades for a trip to the seaside: the sandy beach at Hornsea is just 8.5 miles. While you’re there, don’t miss Bugtopia Zoo and Hornsea Mere, Yorkshire’s largest freshwater lake, great for birdwatching, fishing, sailing and boat trips.
