Prepare your holiday meals in the kitchen area, fitted with a comprehensive range of cupboards and integrated appliances, before dining at the table and then snuggling up on the comfortable seating. If you want to catch up on a favourite series or a movie there’s a Smart TV, and for winter comfort the electric fire provides additional warmth. Both bedrooms feature built-in wardrobes; the double has an en-suite shower room while the twin uses a separate shower room. For spending time in the fresh air, perhaps with a pre-dinner drink or an al fresco meal, the wraparound deck has seating for four and a bistro dining set.
The lodge is located on a wonderful holiday park that puts nature first, and you may well spot deer, hares, swans, ducks, sand martins and herons from your deck. There is a cycle path from the entrance gate, and the High Eske Nature Reserve is just 3 miles away. If it’s retail therapy you’re after, however, head to the charming small cathedral city of Beverley, just 6 miles, or the maritime city of Hull, 9 miles. At Hornsea, 8.5 miles, there’s a sandy beach, family attractions and an RSPB reserve at Hornsea Mere, Yorkshire’s largest freshwater lake.
