The open-plan living space encompasses comfortable seating, a flame-effect electric fire and a Smart TV in the lounge, a dining area and a kitchen with integrated appliances. There’s also a handy utility room with a washer/dryer. The double bedroom features a walk-in wardrobe and a stylish en-suite shower room, while the twin room has fitted wardrobes and use of a family bathroom. French doors from the sun room open on to a wraparound deck, where you can dine alfresco and watch the array of wildlife in and around the water, or bubble in the four-person hot tub that’s set privately on a shingled area at the side.
The holiday park on which the lodge is based has three fishing lakes, a boating lake and a tea room, as well as lovely walks and an abundance of wildlife. The historic small city of Beverley is just 6 miles away, where you’ll find beautiful Georgian streets, an abundance of excellent places to eat and a variety of independent shops. The beach at Hornsea is just 8.5 miles, and here there’s also a range of attractions, including a shopping village, folk museum and Bugtopia Zoo.
