Unwind in a contemporary apartment located in a quiet corner of Whitby by the River Esk but still within easy reach of the town centre, beach and the imposing 657AD Whitby Abbey ruins. Spend quality time with your small family or the other half in the stylish open-plan living space with contrasting light and dark colours and a homely feel.

Walk through the lobby to reach the front door of the apartment. Step inside to find a bright and contemporary ‘U’-shaped kitchen with neutral tones, glossy cabinets and plenty of surface space for cooking a special meal for your loved ones. Dine together at the wooden table and chairs in the lounge/diner with hints of a coastal theme. Next to this are two plump sofas where you can kick back in front of the TV. There is also a family bathroom plus two bedrooms in this property – a double and a twin with a sofa bed.

During your stay in a quiet residential area of Whitby, across the river from the centre of the town, you’ll be just 0.5 miles away from the grand Larpool Viaduct and the Waterfall Cottage Nature Reserve is 1.5 miles away. Whitby’s centre is 1 mile away, where you’ll find seafood restaurants, cafes and quirky shops. Take a picnic to Whitby Beach (1 mile) or Pannett Park (1 mile). Visit the local attractions such as the Dracula Experience, the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and Whitby Pavillion (within 1.5 miles). Stroll around Whitby Abbey, walk down the 199 Steps and stop at the Whalebone Arch (1 mile).

Excellent ground floor apartment, furnishings very tasteful and comfy. All the home from home equipment throughout, could not fault and a credit to the owners. As many have said having allotted parking is always a bonus, as Whitby does get busy at times. Very handy to have Sainsburys and Aldi a short drive away. The 199 Steps, yes we did it, but doRead more take care on the steps are quite worn and do get busy, it might help if people didn't take dogs up them. The Cook Museum is extremely interesting, so much he discovered and mapped, not bad for a farm manager's son! Can certainly recommend the fish restaurant at Sandsend, The Fish Cottage. We had an enjoyable week at Whitby, so if you are thinking of going we can certainly recommend The Apartment. Hide

The property was very well maintained and spotlessly clean was well equipped with the things you needed to make your stay very comfortable it was like home from home Have stayed in many properties in Whitby and this property was one of the best

Very pleased with everything at the Apartment, I would definitely book it again. Everything you could wish for was in there, even a coffee machine. Parking spot is brilliant right next to the property. Location is fantastic, maybe 15 mins max to walk into Whitby. All in all a very comfortable apartment to enjoy your holiday from.
