Sitting in a quiet area of the coastal town of Scarborough, it sleeps six people across four bedrooms, and is an ideal hideaway for large families or groups of friends in search of a traditional seaside break on the Yorkshire coast. Stroll along the beach or explore the castle during the day; and in the evening, go bar-hopping along the seafront or come home to your cottage’s pretty garden, relax and watch the stars come out.

Step inside and you’ll find a delightful open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with a double-height ceiling, refreshingly-unique decor and light flooding in through the original windows. Take a moment to relax in the sofa before heading to the contemporary-style kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone. Gather everyone around the dining table to eat, or head outside to the forecourt to dine alfresco. After dinner, play some board games in the snug area or relax while watching your favourite TV show. At the end of the day, there are four charming bedrooms waiting for you – a double on the ground floor, as well as a double and two singles on the first floor.

Animal-lovers will adore the dazzling tapestry of marine life on view at SEA LIFE Scarborough (2 miles) and the Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park (8.5 miles). Filey is also a great spot to enjoy a picnic on the beach. If you have the kids with you make a beeline to Flamingo Land Theme Park (21 miles) to ride the rollercoasters or the North Yorkshire Water Park (7 miles) to go ziplining.

The property decor and ultra modern style is outstanding. Plenty of TVs for larger groups to watch their favourite shows in separate areas. Only a short 10 minute walk into town and the railway station. Would recommend this property as an ideal place to stay.

Absolutely stunning property, great location for visiting local attractions and travelling elsewhere. Property was immaculate and very well equipped. Can't wait to stay again.

We were delighted with Cloud Recess. It was spacious, stylish and so comfortable. Also it was spotlessly clean. It was well equipped too. Good location, only a few minutes walk to the centre of Scarborough. Its a little gem. We were able to park right outside the property, which was a bonus.

The house worked well for us staying in Scarborough. There were issues with the keys which did not work well. It was not a scenic location but suited us as two families meeting up and we enjoyed our stay. Facilities were good, but I've sent you an email with concerns about the plumbing. We have contacted you twice still no answer. We had to clean the cooker before we could use. The upstairs shower pipe not connected properly . Dish washer was blocked I cleaned the filter which was disgusting but it was still blocked. The fridge was very small for 6 guests. The property looks good when entering BUT all appearance . Think that is Read moreenough but could carry on. Would appreciate an answer to my previous 2 emails. Hide
