This spacious holiday cottage in Whitby is the perfect spot for a gathering of friends or family. Four bedrooms sleep up to six guests in pure comfort, and the living spaces are big and beautiful, ideal for socialising when you’re not making the most of the beach, just 1 mile away. On sunny days, the south-facing garden is a lovely spot for al fresco dining while the kids play on the lawn. The property although modern sits on the very edge of a new estate with far ranging rural views and is not overlooked. 

After a day of adventure, sink into one of the cosy sofas in the lounge and pop a film on the Smart TV. While the adults enjoy some peace and quiet, the kids can release any remaining energy in the separate games room. When bellies start to rumble, head into the kitchen to prepare a homecooked meal with ease, then serve it up at the wooden table in the dining room, which seats up to eight guests – on warm days, you can open the French doors to the patio and let the outside in. On the first floor, you’ll find four bedrooms, including two doubles, a twin and a single bedroom, along with a family bathroom. Completing the property is the glorious garden, with a table on the patio area where you can sit with a tipple as the sun sets.

Be sure to bring your buckets and spades as the beach is only 1 mile from the front door of this house. Also within 1 mile is The Cinder Track, which is perfect for a scenic walk or cycle ride as it links the River Esk in Whitby to the pretty harbour town of Scarborough (20 miles). You’ll find an abundance of pubs and restaurants back in the town when you return. Or uncover some local history at the mysterious Whitby Abbey, just 2 miles away.

Fabulous property!! Beautiful decor, light, spacious, very well equipped and immaculate! Everything had been thought of, to make a really comfortable stay. Great location with plenty of parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to stay here again. It was exactly as the photos and description portrayed - even better. Thanks.
